The Workshop’s client Edward Marc Chocolatier is opening a retail space in the Pentagon, Washington D.C. — and Mike Allen, author of the “Playbook” feature for Politico, took a break from informing readers about deficits and CIA moonlighting to mention the store’s grand opening today.
The shop’s interior, according to the designers (Francisco Beltran and Jeanne Jarvaise of Beltran Design Group), is unique by virtue of its confectionery-inspired design, with a palette of “rich dark chocolates, glistening caramels, soft crèmes and nougats, and warm citrus accents.” These colors are offset by the signature Edward Marc blue, as well as numerous vintage photographs from throughout the company’s illustrious 95-year history.
Congratulations, Edward Marc — and, to the men and women of the Pentagon: you’re in for a treat. For those of you who don’t have the credentials to access the Pentagon, the full product line is always available via EdwardMarc.com.
